Is it safe to use?

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to theirs using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest commercially available). Before you even register or log in to their site, their server checks that you are using an approved browser, one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher. Once your information reaches PayPal, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. Their servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the Internet, so your private information is only available to authorized computers.

American Express & Discovery Card Purchases:
American Express and Discovery card purchases will be submitted in U.S. Dollars (USD) by Paypal to the credit card companies regardless of the currency of the card in PayPal. It is advisable for Canadian buyers to pay with Visa, Mastercard, or a Paypal account to avoid possible extra currency exchanges between USD and CAD. Costume Box will not be held responsible for any CAD differences arising from the use of American Express or Discovery cards.
